So, you’re too good to go to Church?

Many people fall into the trap of, “I cannot go to that Church. There are too many hypocrites in there!” Yes, even I have been there and done that. Ya know what I found out? There was just one less hypocrite in the Church!

I know it is frustrating when we see people sin right out there in the open, but how many of us are sinning on the inside while we sit in judgement of those who sin in our sight? Do we approach them with love and the intention to edify and help them? Do we offer to talk with them about their sin to find out if they are even aware of it? Do we offer any guidance? Do we offer them a way back into the good graces of God? No? Then we have sinned and become the hypocrite.

By the way, why are we looking at others? Are we not there to worship our Creator? Are we not there to learn about our Creator? I suggest that before we decide who is ‘worthy’ or not of God’s grace [which is a decision I do believe God can handle very well, thank you], we look in the mirror. Are we right with God? If we were perfect, Jesus would not have had to die on the Cross for our sins!

If you are that good, then you are sinning by not giving of yourself to those of us who could learn from you. So you see for all Christians, we should go to Church. For those of us who physically cannot find a way to get to Church, there are a couple good TV Churches. Dr. D. James Kennedy (may he rest in peace) has a very good service. They are using tapes of his messages which are still pertinent today. Also, Dr. Stanley is a fine Paster. These are the only two I would watch, though. I am housebound, so I watch Dr. Kennedy every Sunday.

Let us step back for a moment and remember why we go to Church in the first place. Fellowship is also a huge part of it. We are in the world all the time, we need to be around like-minded people to get centered again. This is how we remain accountable to one another. One day you may be going through some awful experience in your life, and who will know unless you have a bond within your Church? I’m talking about someone who can help you spiritually. They can pick up on your need more effectively than someone who does not know you in the same way.

Maybe you could edify someone else just by your presence! Maybe it is your turn to help, or maybe it is your turn to be in need of help. Either way, would you care to take a chance on NOT being available because someone sinned against you or just was a hypocrite? HOW DARE YOU! Have you not heard the song, “Humble thyself in the sight of the LORD, and He will lift you up, higher and higher, and He will lift you up.”? Please allow Him to heal you using His children. None of us are perfect, and we are going to make mistakes. But do not forsake Him. He will never forsake you. God bless you, and I pray you read this. No names mentioned.

Before I start this post, please allow me to set the record straight. I am not Catholic. I am a First Southern Baptist Christian. I hold no ill feelings toward those people who choose to be Catholics. I am grounded enough in my faith not to allow anything that anyone says about their religion or mine to bother me, but I will tell what does bother me.

When someone claims the title as a Christian, then publicly acts anyway they choose except as a Christian. I know I have failed in this category, so I understand how easy it is fall off the path and start walking as if we are of this world and not just in it. For this, I repent of my sins of cussing and not reading my Bible as I should.

I have looked in the mirror at myself, and I have taken the log out of my eye. Now let’s turn to the speck in Cardinal Mahoney’s. To stay in your position as Cardinal of any Church is an even more egregious sin. For these men to continue their grotesque sin and crime, they needed your enablement. They needed your cloak to cover them, and that is exactly what you gave them. Shame on you!

Let’s look at this situation as the unbeliever would. There are many religions out there, and every person is going seek the meaning of life at least one point in their life. They ultimately turn to God. You and I know that there is only One True God. We are His representatives, like it or not. What they see on the outside is how God will be judged. What do you think someone looking at you will think?

EDITORIAL NOTE: If you do not agree with me about MY religion, don’t bother writing a disagreeable comment. I know there are many who do not believe this. THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE, and I have that right as much as you do.

To continue. Anyone who has the authority over His flock and leads astray one of His very own would be better off to tie a mulberry bush around his neck and throw himself into the ocean! These are not my words. It is not I who says this, but the LORD. Does that matter to you?

These people who search for God will now have trouble with a Christian God, because this is a big deal. I can tell you that the people who harmed me will never be able to pay me more than I’ve already paid personally for their crimes. Do not find your hands washed of these crimes against children and humanity. They are not. They cannot be.

How many people are going to Christ now? How many are turning away? What you have done is outrageous and sinful. You are just as guilty as those men, and you should not remain a Cardinal. Not in a Church anyway. You have broken the Holy laws of God and the trust of mankind. The only way to regain the Hope in Christ is for you to leave your post. If you are truly sorry, if you truly love Christ, if you truly desire His flock to be saved, you shall retire your position in the Church. Then again, that’s only if you remember we may be in this world, not of it.

Please listen to this video. It says in a few seconds what I have been saying for years. There is only one difference. I am not asking you for anything other than a phone call (Toll free: 866-340-9281). I will never ask you for a dime or a penny. They do not ask for any money in this video for which I am grateful. However, when you go to their site, they will.

They do not have a bad site. You should visit it just to educate yourself. BTW, it has been 400,000 killed for a couple of years now. Do ya think the number ought to be higher? I do.

The Darfurians have no voice other than yours. Please consider abolishing slavery and Jihadist genocide. If you have any questions, please contact me. I will gladly answers any questions to the best of my ability. Thank you for your time to read this. It would mean a lot more to me if you would raise your voice…politely! 😉

I have sinned against You, Lord. I have not read my Bible, I do not go to Church, I lay down to sleep rarely ever remembering to pray and give thanks for another day of life, and I have allowed the flame in my heart almost go out.

Oh my Lord, I repent of these sins. Please Lord, take me by the hand and lead me back to You. I heard myself thinking about how ‘I will’ fix this, and I heard and knew that I was the one who ‘willed’ me into this shameful place. I do not believe I can do this by my will. I need You, oh Lord. Please hear my plea.

I have become so busy there is no room or time for You. I always believed You would never leave me. If I were to read in Revelations about the Church of Ephasus, You told them to remember their first love. This is in the beginning of the second chapter. I know this because it is a chapter I keep having to come to everytime. Why?!?

What is wrong with me, Lord? I know that I am human, but why is it always the same sin? It is as if I do not love You, but I do. I want to. What is wrong with me?

Whatever the problem may be, I turn my life over to You once more. I should do this everyday, but I have been forgetting to do this too.

Remember one of my favorite songs, Lord? Did you think to pray! I will write it so I can see it everytime I look here.

Refrain:Oh, how praying rests the weary! Prayer will change the night to day; So, when life seems dark and dreary, Don’t forget to pray.

1. Ere you left your room this morning, Did you think to pray? In the name of Christ, our Saviour, Did you sue for loving favor, as a shield today?

2. When you met with great temptation, Did you think to pray? By His dying love and merit Did you claim the Holy Spirit As your Guide and Stay?

3. When your heart was filled with anger, Did you think to pray? Did you plead for grace, my brother, That you might forgive another Who had crossed your way?

4. When soar trials came upon you, Did you think to pray? When your soul was bowed in sorrow, Balm of Gilead did you borrow At the gates today?

I feel better already. I am very sorry, Lord. I don’t write here everyday as I should. I feel so all alone. I have no one to pray with, I can’t get out of this apartment, and I have asked for Bible study partners. People have their own lives to live, and I don’t hold that against them. I guess it will be You and me for a while, eh? I just don’t want to get it wrong. That is what scares me the most.

When I left that cult, it threw me for a bigger loop than I realized. I want to know what was originally said, not what man says it said. I never want to be brainwashed again. Yes, that is my fear. I don’t even trust myself…Have a nice day.

In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen.
