Source: My brother emailed this to me.

Read down to the very bottom highlighted in green,
IT’LL GIVE YOU GOOSEBUMPS!

You don’t want to miss this! ((*_*))

VERY INTERESTING-

1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq.
2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!
3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.
4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.
5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!
6. Isaac’s wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq!
7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.
8. Jonah preached in Nineveh – which is in Iraq.
9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.
10. Amos cried out in Iraq!
11 Babylon , which is in Iraq , destroyed Jerusalem.
12. Daniel was in the lion’s den in Iraq!
13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the Fiery Furnace!)
14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the ‘writing on the wall’ in Iraq.
15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.
16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq ..
17. The wise men were from Iraq ..
18. Peter preached in Iraq.
19. The ‘Empire of Man’ described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one:

Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible.
But do you know which nation is second?
It is Iraq!
However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible.

The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia.
The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers,
more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers ..

The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq

And also, This is something to think about:

Since America is typically represented by an eagle.

Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages…

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11) – For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah;

And there was peace.
(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!

This is a ribbon for soldiers fighting in Iraq.

Pass it on to everyone and pray.

This time I have a trio for you. This was supposed to be posted Wednesday, but I have been so busy. I apologize for that. This railroad is something else. If you want to increase commerce and bring a country together, build a railroad!

“The Iraq railroad system provides efficient reliable transportation and many people rely on the railroad for traveling. It is also critical for trade and commerce from the deep-water marine port and business centers in southern Iraq to the population centers in northern Iraq,” stated Edison. [Continue reading.]

Wouldn’t it be fantastic if the only fights you heard were the bartering over the prices? Yes, that day will come. I just hope it is sooner rather than later.

In this next article is about my kinda gal. She is the first one in her immediate family to serve, and she did not want to be just anybody. No, she wanted to go for the gusto!

AL ASAD, Iraq – It is estimated that more than 12,000 Native Americans served in the United States military in World War I. There are more than 190,000 Native American military veterans; as the years continue to compile, so do the numbers of Native Americans in the military.

This is an article about the visit that Admiral Fallon took to Iraq to check out the progress of the refineries and the insurgencies.

BAYJI, Iraq – Adm. William Fallon, commander of U.S. Central Command, met with Maj. Gen. Benjamin Mixon, 25th Infantry Division commander, and other Iraqi and coalition leaders, June 11, 2007, at the Bayji Oil Refinery to discuss the future of the refinery.Fallon expressed his concern with getting the Bayji Oil Refinery running at its maximum potential, which included proposed methods for the protection of the oil pipelines that run to other cities and neighboring countries. It may be so that many people are claiming that we went there for oil, but I’d like to see how they were getting around without that crude! BTW, we did not go there for oil, but that’s a given. If there happens to be oil in a place where we have to attack, we are obliged to make sure those fields are protected. Have a great day!

This is a mixture of emotions article, from heart-wretching to proud to grateful. It is heart-wretching for me to hear about even one of our men in pain, let alone murdered. But this is war, and I have to deal with it.

It makes me so proud when I hear stories about our injured men who, to them, the only problem is when can they have their ‘gear’ back and join their team! Gratitude comes from the knowledge that they are doing this for you and me. Maybe not directly, maybe we’ll never meet face to face, maybe…but wow. They know this as well. I am truly humbled.

HADITHAH — The counter-insurgency coalition forces are conducting in Iraq calls for numerous military units to give up their traditional roles and pick up a different weapon. This is nothing new for artillery units, who, since the Battle of Fallujah in November of 2004, have often been called upon to put away their howitzers for rifles, police batons, and claims cards. All around Iraq, artillery batteries and battalions are serving as provisional rifle, military police, and civil military units. In Hadithah, it’s no different.

Michael Yon used to be in the service, now he is out reporting the facts about what is really happening in Iraq and Afghanistan. Right now he is in Iraq with the British Queen’s Royal Lancers. He has an amazing story to tell. Anyone who remembers the Brits who were kidnapped by Iran will not recognize these people. Nor will you recognize them by the stories the dinosaur media has giving us due to the fact that they have never actually gone to find the truth. They rely on terrorists or people who don’t actually know the truth. Anyway, here is the link. Have a nice day.

Posted first at My Newz ‘n Ideas.

With all the fighting and bloodshed in Iraq, we never hear the good news. Well, here is some from .Evan Kohlmann over at Counter Terrorism.

“Security Forces conducted a raid in Mosul May 13 resulting in the capture of Salim Yussef Ghafif Huseyn, aka Abu Daoud. Abu Daoud [who] is the chief facilitator of the majority of terrorist suicide car bombings in Mosul, for the terrorist group of Abu Talha associated with Zarqawi terrorist network. Intelligence sources have placed Abu Daoud as a very close confidant and terrorist cell leader of Abu Talha [Zarqawi’s lieutenant in charge of Mosul –see Al-Qaida leadership chart]; together they are directly responsible for numerous attacks against innocent Iraqi citizens.

Abu Daoud was responsible for obtaining vehicles and converting them into car bombs by packing them full of explosives. In previous incident, Security Forces have captured in April Abu Fateh, a financier for Abu Talha. With the capture of Abu Daoud, Multi-National forces continue to make considerable progress against terrorists in the Mosul area.”

I highly recommend this site if you are interested in unbiased news about the war against terrorism. They usually know about things before the White House or Capitol Hill does! How? They keep their eyes and ears open, and they do not let political correctness get in the way. They are not running for any office, so they are not confined to any constituency except one–the truth.

    Democracy in Iraq

Democracy in Progress is a very good site to find information on news that IS fit to print! These 3 brothers have covered many of the stories we have been looking forward to reading. This recent article tells about the National Conference that has just concluded. Were you aware there was a three day, 1000-1300 persons gathering to promote the next 81 people that would represent the Iraqi people? Oh, I’m not surprised. It was barely a whisper in the USA. How sad. Maybe if someone had slugged the chairperson…but then again, they don’t want to look too much like American politicians! 🙂

National Conference is Born is an article written by Zeyad. It is a very well documented account of the National Conference. Please, read it. His site is Healing Iraq. Zeyad is a very intelligent man who has a heart for Iraq that is very big, and he reports on subjects of many interests. He is working very hard to heal his country, and we should do what we can to help.

Iraqi Pro-Democracy Party is the party that Ali and Mohammed have joined, and they are running for the Assembly (or whatever it ends up being named!) These are two of the three brothers that have been writing Iraq the Model all this time so we would know the truth. Let us continue to support them. Please continue to pray for them. I am calling to arms every man and woman. By arms I mean “put your money where your mouth is!” and “tell everyone you meet or see about the good news in Iraq, including Ali and Mohammed.” In America, we have learned to do our fighting at the ballot box, I hope! 🙂 Everyone have a great and blessed day.

    Reflections

Since I have not yet revealed my “self” to you, I thought today may be a fine day to start. Sundays are very special to me, since they are the day I set aside for the Lord. Actually, every day is the Lord’s day, but we Christians in particular set aside this day.

I have been very happy, very angry, and very confused these past weeks. I am full of joy for the Iraqi football team. Look how wonderfully they play! I am very proud of them. I am very angry at Sadr and Allawi. Sadr-because he causes so much pain to the Iraqis, and Allawi for not realizing that if you let him get away with it, Iran will just arm him again. What kind of a man hides in a holy place? Does he desire the shrine to be destroyed? Do people worship the building, or do people worship what the building represents? If it is the first, then they have no god. If it is the second, then buildings can be repaired or rebuilt. Once someone fires a weapon of war at a soldier of war, they have just declared that building a target. Does he not realize he is not safe? If the new government prevents the coalition from finishing the job and someone wants to find fault with someone, find it with Sadr and Allawi. Sadr is the murderous punk. Allawi for appearing weak. I am confused, however, as to why we don’t take appropriate action. Why not? Does our government want to look weak? Who is tying my President’s hands? The State Department? They need to go, all of them (state dept!) Do not the Iraqi people deserve to live in peace? Yes, they do.

I could pour out my heart for the peoples all over the world that are living in fear and under a corrupt government or communism, but I am afraid no one would care. How selfish have we become? Did we forget how we became great? It was not by our own strength, no! It was the loving hand of God that led the way. Now, some want to forget He even exsists! How dare they! I am outraged! Don’t tell me not to believe what I know to be true. I tolerate the ignorant, because it doesn’t make sense to argue. They won’t change their minds, and by all means they shouldn’t. At the same time, would they please, PLEASE, be at least half as gracious to me??? They preach tolerance, but what they mean is “do as I say. My way or no way.” That, my dear Marxist friends, is not tolerance. It is totalitarianism. This, I will not tolerate! Just as before, I will fight them with prayer, calling my Congresswoman, my Senators, the President, and continue in my efforts with organizations which I belong. We are so blessed that we can still fight without any bloodshed! Thank God.

I still haven’t said much about myself, huh? Oh well! I find it diffifcult to speak about myself, because I don’t really know what to say. I love to write, I enjoy writing poetry, I love the Charlie Daniels Band (country music,) Toby Keith, my cats, all animals, people-most of the time(!), etc. Boring, huh? Ha ha! 🙂

I was born in a small town outside of Philadelphia. I lived there until I was nine, then my family moved to upstate New York. I have lived a rather fancy free, yet challenging life. I am an ex-alcoholic since August 19, 1987. I can sometimes go on and on if given the opportunity. I have had 3 brain strokes, but I am fine. I have a port wine birthmark on my face. When I was born, it covered the whole left half of my face! I have learned a lot by looking like this.

I have discovered that some people are shallow, while others are not. I can very easily get rid of the ones who are by not wearing make-up. I hate make-up. It makes me feel phony. I used to wear it all the time, though! Funny, isn’t it, the changes we go through as we grow.

I love this journey called life. I have been to 47 states, and I even lived in 9 states, stayed in a few for more than a week! The one thing that impressed me the most was how much we have in common and how much stays the same, just change the names and places. Of course I wasn’t politically active at the time I was trampsing around the USA, so I can’t speak on that behalf, but I sure enjoyed myself. I would get this itch that said go here or there, and off I would go! I don’t do that anymore, and that makes me sad, but it is okay.

Well, that is about as much as I am willing to share at this moment. I don’t even know if this is politically intelligent. Ah, who am I kidding? I don’t care what people find out about me. I am not ashamed for being alive. I thank God (not as often as I should) that I am alive. Thanks for reading all of this, if you’ve gotten this far.

Let me know what you think, and I could sure use some helpful hints on creative writing, topics, what not to say, etc. God bless the USA, Afghanistan, Iraq, the UK, Poland, Italy, and all the coalition countries, all people that are being oppressed by their government-may they have freedom soon, the children, our families, friends, and neighbors. Have mercy on us, dear Lord, and show us the way. Keep our feet straight away on the path You have set for us, and grant us the strength to weather the storms of life. I pray for Your Peace, Your Love, Your Wisdom, Your Grace, Your Justice, Victory and Your Mercy. I love You, God. Thank You.

That’s all folks! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! (Looney Tunes cartoons!)

I found out about this story a few days ago, but I had no way to help her. She is in need of instruction, proper clothing, etc., and the Council is upset with her for letting people know.

This is an article written by Mrs. Fayrouz. She is a lady that is offering knowledge about this situation along with a solution that was written on her site July 27, 2004, so make sure you scroll down to 7/27/04. I would pesonally like to thank her for her efforts and determination. It is quite impressive to see the goodness of heart that would come to the aid of another lady. I do not know much about the Middle East, but if most people resemble her, I believe the ME is very rich indeed. Many blessings will follow you, Mrs. Fayrouz. I pray that Ala’a Hikmat has all of her needs met, and that she surprises us all! Godspeed!

    Evidence?

    My Newz ‘n Ideas.

It has been well known for quite some time now that you will find some people prone to conspiratorial thinking. Let us start with: The war in Iraq was for oil. If that were true, why is gas more expensive now than before the war? France, Germany, Russia, and China had contracts for future oil sales, and they were the most strident obstructionist. Could it be that they were all involved in the Oil for Food scandal that is under investigation as I write this? Their contracts are now null and void, since the government they dealt with no longer exists! Yes, it is indeed they who were against us because of your precious oil. Tsik tsik tsik.

Second, there are no weapons of mass destruction and there never were. Okay, then why did Bill Clinton bomb Iraq in 1998? Why did 15 out of 15 members of the UN Security counsel vote to have Saddam turn them over or else…? Clinton, Albright, Burger, France, UK, Spain, Germany, and other countries all had intelligence that he did indeed have these weapons. If President Bush was had bad intelligence (which he didn’t,) then everyone was wrong. Ultimately thought, there is only one person who is to blame, that could have prevented the war. That is your darling Saddam. This is what happens when we don’t stick together. What don’t you understand about “Either you are with us or you are against us.” Saddam was dancing in the streets on September 11, 2001. I have not forgotten, have you?

Last, but not the least of this argument, why did we FIND Saran nerve agent if it wasn’t there? What about the mustard gas, the 3000 chemical suits we found hidden in a hospital during the 3 week war, the soldiers that became ill due to exposure to WMD, and on and on? It happened because it is true. No conspiracy here, sorry.

Maybe the President is friends with the Saudi Arabian government? Well, every president since FDR has been friends with the Saudis. It’s called diplomacy. You cannot scream for the diplomacy for a murderous dictator, Saddam, drive your fancy cars, scream about the price of gas, deny us the ability to drill for oil on our own soil, and not expect us to keep diplomatic ties with the Saudis. They are even moving toward local elections, or haven’t you heard through your pathetic screeching?

Yes, there is a movement going on in the Middle East. People see what the Iraqis are able to do and wonder why they are not allowed. Freedom is the only thing that once you taste it, you can’t stop it from spreading. Are you forgetting Tienamin Square? I can assure they have not. Communism will fall. It cannot stand. It is evil the way it has to be implemented. If you were decent people, you would do what I do-buy American as much as you can. I realize computers are no longer made it this country. Thank you, lefties, for driving them away, and then you scream there are no jobs. Well, I’d have to say you’re right. Have you ever owned a business here? Capitalism was not meant to be an arm of the government, you fascist idiots with your regulations!!!! Please excuse me. You may have noticed that I have just about had it with these children dressed in grownup clothes.

Do you not realize we are in WWIV? (Yes, the cold war was WWIII.) Lay off our, my, president. Your hatred will destroy you. If you want to destroy yourself, fine, just don’t take me with you. That is exacly what you are doing. The Middle East and al Qaida are watching everything you do. If they see disunity, they feel safe. Do you want the blood of your fellow countrymen on your hands? Keep acting like you know no better. You, we, will all the price. I am not saying shut up. I am asking you to THINK before you speak. That’s all. I hope and pray for the Afghani and Iraqi people, that they may continue to know sweet freedom, and never again let a dictator destroy your beauty and spirit.

Well, now that I have given you some facts to ponder, although I really want to yell and scream at you that you are fighting the wrong people-we are not the enemy!-now I can go to sleep with a smile upon my face. A sad smile, yes, but a smile nonetheless.
