Have you ever given any thought to a ‘three-dimensional’ website? Look at it this way, we no longer live in a world where the net is a ‘flat earth’ development. To give you a peek inside this fact, Douglas Farah has written a very informative and chilling article.

At the Counterterrorism Blog, you will find just about any type of news that we are NOT hearing about on the news. Especially the type of news which we should all be looking for to keep our country safe. I suppose that could be because of the elections, but you would think our survival would be an election year topic. Oh well.

Jihadists Move to Encryption on Internet Sights.

…Today’s Washington Post carries an extensive look at the radicalization of two Islamists from the state of Georgia who were filming potential targets in Washington, D.C.

Much of the process took place on line, as did the radicalization of an Egyptian businessman who sponsored the trip of combatants to Iraq based on the Internet statements and broadcasts by Yousef al-Qaradawi, the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. [Continue reading.]

So, they think catching illegal aliens is too hard of a task? Check out this story from Jayson Javitz over at Wizbang!

Dragnet.

…’They think they’re pretty much home free once they get up here,’ said Bill Botts, of the Border Patrol’s Gulport, Mississippi, station. But Operation Uniforce, as the two-week crackdown started Jan. 13 is called, ‘is pretty much a shocker for the [alien] smuggling organizations.’

More than 300 illegal immigrants and alien smugglers had been arrested as of Tuesday, just over a week into the operation. [Continue reading.]

Now I will share with you some articles and their links and who they are written by in groupings. That is because there are too many of them! lol

First I would like to start with Michael Yon. This first post of his is Moment of Truth in Iraq, a book that Michael has written, and it is very good. I’ve read the first chapter of Danger Close (it is online), and you might like to read it also. He is one of the citizen journalists who tells it as it is, not the way we would like to hear it. I like that. It shows me respect, because he trusts that I can make up my own mind.

CORRECTION: It has been brought to my attention that Michael’s book is Titled “Danger Close.” Jon is correct. The link to the first chapter is right here and you may purchase it only at Michael’s site here. Thank you Jon for catching that for me. *blush*

His next post is News Flash: Dragon Skin. This one is about body armor. Next is “Commanders Update #9, Commander’s Update #9 JAN 08, By LTC. James Crider. Then there is “General Lee Comes Home, Part 2, Stryker Dubbed ‘General Lee’ Rejuvenated, By Ann Roosevelt, for Defense Daily. After that one is this one where he was profiled by the NY Times, “News Flash: Frontline Blogger With a Soldier’s Eyes. They actually did a good job. Then finally, there is a collection of Michael’s writings: Archives: Table of Contents.

This one is not technically a blogger (Former Ambassador to the USA, John Bolton), but he has written a very chilling warning to President Bush, Condi, and the new president of the USA in the Wall Street Journal’s opinion and commentary section. The title of this article is “North Korea’s True Colors.” Read it! Another article which they printed is “The Legacy, Bush of Arabia. This U.S. president is the most consequential the Middle East has ever seen. by FOUAD AJAMI.” It is a refreshing look at both President Bush (whom I have lost much hope of having anything positive get done) and the Iraqi people. It is a good read.

For the following articles from CentCom, I will put them in list form. There are many good articles!

Here are six links to YouTube videos from Blackfive: This video is 1:16 minutes long. The title is “Sgt. Giles.” This one is “Arab Jabour: An Introduction,” and it is 2:45 minutes. This next one is titled “Arab Jabour: Terrain Denial.” The next three are “Surge Plus One: Doura,” “Robin Williams in Kuwait” and “Crazy I-Ranians threaten US warships with Jihad.” Now I have links you may be interested in reading.

Next I have for you some articles from ACT! for America is a great site to go to find patriotic people keeping an eye on legislation and other news that we can appreciate. They now have chapters that are posted on their website. You can also receive e-mails from them, if you wish.

This next news article is an interview between National Review Online and M. Zuhdi Jasser. This is the third part of the article. The title of this portion of the interview is “We Need a Hero, Looking toward 2008 and beyond.” Mr. Jasser has also had a press release, “FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award given to Zuhdi Jasser.” One more article here. It is written by Electa Draper at the Denver Post. The name of the article is “Moderate Muslim view outshouted by Islamists.” Oh, those so understanding and tolerant libs. You may read about him and keep up with him at AIFD. This acronym stands for American Islamic Forum for Democracy.

American Congress for Truth is a very fine site. It is run by conversatives who just happen to be black. This is an amazing site, and you really should add it to your sidebar. For example, they are on top of this internet problem which I started this post off with.

Terrorism Probe Points to Reach Of Web Networks.

In April 2005, police swarmed the U.S. Capitol to confront an erratic Australian man, carrying two suitcases, who they feared was a suicide bomber. After blowing up one of the bags, officers realized he was harmless.

The police never noticed the two nervous young men on a nearby sidewalk filming the Capitol during the standoff. But they might have been the real threat, according to newly released documents.

The men, ultraconservative Muslims from Georgia, were making surveillance videos that could help extremists plan “some kind of terrorist attack,” as one man later acknowledged, according to court documents disclosed last week. One of their videos was sent to a notorious al-Qaeda publicist in London, authorities said. [Continue reading.]

Does that give anyone pause? It does me.

Okay, that should be enough information to hold you through the weekend. Don’t worry. If it doesn’t, I will still be posting at my site. I am having an Open Tracktrack Alliance and an Open Trackback at Linkfest. Share with others your work. Before you trackback, please add me to your post. After you this, I will add your name and title to the main page. This way, everyone will be able to see your work and may come over to view it. Have a good weekend everyone!

Update: I just have to add this one last(?) post. It is very funny and is also a member of Open Trackback Alliance. Since I do not like to post a trackback on someone’s post who has not listed that post for today’s OTA, I have written this little piece about it. Oh, what is it? House bill H.R. 4088 is a bill that we must first read carefully (if they ever put it on the docket) before we throw our whole hearted support behind it. As I understand it as of now, it appears that many freshman to Congress ‘got it’ when we demanded enforcement instead of amnesty.

I learned about this over at The Pirate’s Cove. One of the most amazing things about this bill is that 44 DEMS and 40 REPS are sponsoring this bill. They claim to want bi-partisanship, yes? Yeah right! Just so long as everyone agrees with San Fransisco!

This is exactly where you and I come into the picture. We need to spread the word about this bill. Please go visit this post, because he has more details than I do. I can supply you with committees which this bill has been sent. (This is their way of burying it, that is why we need to keep it alive!)

Committees: House Homeland Security; House Judiciary; House Ways and Means; House Education and Labor; House Oversight and Government Reform; House Armed Services; House Agriculture; House Natural Resources.

Latest Major Action: 11/6/2007 Referred to House committee. Status: Referred to the Committee on Homeland Security, and in addition to the Committees on the Judiciary, Ways and Means, Education and Labor, Oversight and Government Reform, Armed Services, Agriculture, and Natural Resources, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.

This is a bunch of rotten eggs. We cannot allow this bill to get buried. Thank you, everyone, who helps us to keep our Sovereignty against these elitists who have no clue…

PS. If anyone can remember which blogroll(s) covers anti-illegal aliens amnesty and our Sovereignty, please leave me a comment. I would like to join them. Thanks.

H/t: WashingtonWatch for the link to the bill.

I am opening this post up for trackbacks, because we never get heard by one voice. But one voice+another voice+a few more voices…we can do this! Please remember, if you trackback to me, please add a link to me to on your post. Also, no porn. 😉

I have received a petition from a group I know and respect very well, the Patriot Post. They have a petition with 58,000 signatures already to free Agents Compean and Ramos, but their aim is to have at least 100,000 signers in order to present this petition to Congress. We can do this. It is for a cause I believe to be just and appropriate.

A little background: Two of our border patrol agents are sitting in prison waiting for their appeal. They are in prison for what I consider to be doing their job. You may decide on your own. One of the agents was trying to arrest a drug smuggler (he had over 700,000 lbs of cocaine in his truck) when the smuggler wrestled himself free. This agent was now on the ground.

What happens next is the bit of contention. As he is running, he turns around. What do you do? If you are so smart, what do you do??? Does he have a gun? He’s a drug smuggler. Most drug runners have guns. Is he going to shoot me? Should I wait and find out? Should I shoot one off just to scare him?

Let me give you a clue. By the time you have answered all of these questions, it won’t matter. You are dead. If he has a gun. That’s all the time it takes, and then plus some! I’m not sure of the order in which the events took place right here, so I will not pacify the urge to indulge you. I will simply admit I do not know.

I do know, however, that this dude ends up with a bullet going through his buttocks. (In and then out.) He runs and makes it across the border to Mexico. His partner, he AND ABOUT 7 OTHER AGENTS are there. Why didn’t he report the incident? Why didn’t he tell his captain that they picked up the shell casings? BECAUSE HE WAS WITH THEM. I am not going to my friend I what I had for lunch if she is the one who took me out in the first place! Duh!

Anyway, so that’s where that stands. Getting back to the petition and the need for it. This drug smuggler, who received immunity to come and go as he pleased across the border and was arrested again for more cocaine, testified against the agents after OUR government went searching for him. BTW, the fact that he was arrested again for the very same crime was NOT allowed to brought to the jury’s attention. It was inadmissible due to the fact it might influence the jury. HUH? NO KIDDING!

I’d better let you read the email before I get all upset…again.

“Free the Texas Three and Secure our Borders” — a citizen petition calling on President Bush to commute the sentences of both former Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean, and their colleague, former Sheriff’s Deputy Guillermo Hernandez; asking Congress to insist that the DEA prosecute Mexican national Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila on felony drug distribution charges; and demanding that Congress and the Bush administration secure our borders.

I urge you to sign this petition today — right now! We need 100,000 signatures.

To sign this petition online, link to — PatriotPetitions.US.

If you don’t have Web access, you can sign this petition by sending a blank e-mail to: sign-borders@PatriotPetitions.US.

Please forward this invitation to Patriot family members, friendsand associates.

    Thank you!

I hope you decide to sign this petition. We need to stop this dangerous flaw of allowing just anyone from anywhere to come into our country. It is a privilege, not a right, to be here. Our border patrol agents are doing a very unforgiving, thankless job, and I thank them for it. Amen.

Update: BTW, did I mention that the Congress is having hearings on this issue this week? Yes, they’d like to find out the truth about what happened to these men as well. Thank you.

Update 2: This article has been picked up by Ft. Hard Knoxtwice! Those are great articles over there. Honest. The title of both of these articles are: “Blog Honor Roll 08/01/07” and I was added as an update at the end of, “A Little Justice on the Way for Compean & Ramos?.” Thank you, Jenn.

Yesterday Congressman Duncan Hunter (CA-R) testified in front of the Senate of behalf of Border Patrol Agents Mr. Compean and Mr. Ramos. He has sent out a press release for you to be aware of all he is trying to do to have these gentlemen released from prison for which they are in due to bogus charges and the word of an illegal alien drug smuggler. [Emphasis mine.]

    For immediate release:
    July 17, 2007

Hunter testifies for border patrol agents.
California Congressman seeks full pardon for Ramos and Compean (Washington, D. C.)

United States Congressman Duncan Hunter took his fight to the nation’s capitol today (July 17) to convince President Bush to pardon two border patrol agents he feels were unjustly imprisoned. Hunter appeared before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Terrorism, Technology and Homeland Security.

The California Congressman testified that he strongly supports a Presidential pardon of former agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean because, “there is absolutely no justification for such unfair and excessive prison sentences.”

The incident dates back to February 2005, when the agents tried to stop a van driven by alleged drug smuggler Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila near the Mexico border. According to court documents, a scuffle ensued between agent Compean and suspect Aldrete-Davila. The suspect broke loose and fled on foot.

Agent Ramos says he believes that he saw a gun, a fact contradicted by the suspect. Both agents reportedly fired at Aldrete-Davila, who fell, then continued his escape across the border. Later, Ramos and Compean filed their official report listing the 743-pounds of marijuana they found in the van, but failed to mention the gunfire.

A Homeland Security agent apparently heard about the episode and traveled to Mexico. According to court documents, the Homeland Security agent offered Aldrete-Davila immunity, if he would testify against Ramos and Compean.

In his testimony today, Hunter took offense to that arrangement. “The U.S. government sadly decided to side with the drug dealer and prosecute agents Compean and Ramos for simply fulfilling their duties as border patrolmen.

The drug smuggler walked away from the incident with only a wound in his rear-end, and the opportunity to attempt another drug run.”

Hunter continued, “The men and women of the border patrol are certainly not above the laws they are empowered to enforce, but, they must also know that when they apply the necessary and appropriate level of force, their government will not work aggressively to ensure they are punished while lawlessness is rewarded.”

U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, a Bush appointee, prosecuted the agents.

In March, a jury found them guilty of assault with a dangerous weapon, discharge of a firearm during a violent crime, obstructing justice, lying about the incident, and willfully violating Aldrete-Davila’s Fourth Amendment right to be free from illegal seizure.

Because there was gunfire, the mandatory-minimum prison sentence the agents will serve is 10 years. The U.S. Probation Office in El Paso, Texas, had recommended 20 years for each of the two agents.

Hunter reemphasized his belief that, “there is absolutely no justification for such unfair and excessive prison sentences.”

Hunter’s congressional district is in southern California near the border with Mexico. He told the members of the subcommittee, “I represent the border communities, and have for more than 26-years. I have worked with the fine men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol to ensure they receive the support and resources they need to address the constant intrusion of drug and human smugglers across our borders. It troubles me to think that questionable testimony by a drug smuggler, who was granted immunity, and free medical care for his cooperation, was put before the two border patrol agents who willingly accepted this inherently dangerous responsibility.”

Hunter noted, “The very day they surrendered to federal custody, I recommended that agents Compean and Ramos be segregated and was assured they would be removed from the general population and close attention was being paid to their personal safety.

The attack against agent Ramos indicates concerns for his personal safety and protection were ignored.” On February 6, 2007, Hunter wrote to the President requesting that an investigation be conducted into the attack against agent Ramos.

The letter also requested that Bureau of Prisons Director Harley Lappin be discharged from his position should it be ascertained that the proper precautions were not taken.

Hunter concluded his testimony by emphasizing his belief that, “Pardoning agents Compean and Ramos is the only option available to correct this terrible injustice and, just as importantly, restoring the confidence of the border patrol and the American people that their nation is serious about enforcing its immigration and smuggling laws.”

Hunter has said when elected president, his first order of business will be to pardon the agents. Hunter has led the national campaign for border security and immigration reform. He has been joined by scores of his fellow members, and several activist groups.

He was the only Republican Presidential Candidate to attend Tuesday’s hearing.

Observers believe that the subcommittee members sought Hunter’s testimony because of his long fight for a more secure border and his legislative initiatives.

Hunter drafted legislation that was signed by the President to construct over 800 miles of fence on the southern border. Only a few miles of fencing have been completed. Hunter has charged that the department of Homeland Security has the money and the mandate, but “the administration has a ‘case of the slows’ in getting the fence built.”

He has pledged that, “he will see that the fence is up within six month after he takes office as President.

    1,000,000 American March

Enough talk. Enough phone calls. The Senate, the House, and the president do not care whether we do not like this bill for amnesty or not. So what do we do?

We all get together, Americans who happen to be of Mexican, Asian, African, European, etc. descent, and march on the walls and halls of Washington. Let them know we WILL be heard, and they WILL listen. They do work for US, the American citizens. Not invaders. Not al Qaida. Not Hizbullah. Not Hamas. Not anyone except US citizens. After all, we are the only ones that are supposed be allowed to vote, as if that happens.

I’ve had it with all the name calling by Senators, Congressmen and the president, that does not have to live the way we, as American citizens, do. As a teen, I worked as a waitress. I tried to get a job out here in California, but I could not get hired. Why not? I don’t (and will not) speak Spanish. It is not because I find the language offensive, I do not. I love the language. I even speak enough of it to get by. The problem is, and it’s a big one for most Americans, that I don’t want anyone telling me that I HAVE to do so.

If you do not desire me telling you about Jesus Christ, then do not force me to speak your language in my own country. Period. Anyone. And you say it is the Christians trying push our agenda down your throats? HA! When is the last bill you heard of that said, “You must be a Christian”??? You have not, because it was put into the constitution that you can believe in whatever you choose. So get out of my face.

I will stand up for what I believe, and you had better believe that! I have that right just as much as you do. Being a Christian does NOT exclude me from politics. No. Just the opposite. It calls me to be responsible enough to get informed, be involved, and don’t be lazy.

You will take this land that was given to us by God Almighty, where we made a solemn oath to Him in the Mayflower Compact, over my dead body.

Getting back to the point at hand. We need to make these 536 people realize that we mean business. That we are serious. In the mean time, do not stop calling that toll free number (866) 340-9281. Let them hear you. Be polite. Be firm, and do not allow them to lie to you. Refute them with facts.

1,000,000 American March is a pipe dream, and I know it. But wouldn’t it be sweet?

    The Republican Convention

I have been hearing many good and bad things about how the Convention is going. Does anyone know where I can get a transcript of all speakers, including the women who were there who lost their husbands on September 11, 2001? I would appreciate it.

As for the coverage, I don’t remember the MSM paying so much attention to the protesters at the Kerry Campaign, but then again, their whole platform sounded like a protest! I do not like negative people or people who think I swallow the party line. I do have a brain, and I use it to research the truth underlying what people say. If they (Kerry supporters) think I can be swayed by telling me something he did 35 years ago and then spend 26 seconds on his entire political life, they are wrong to think that there isn’t something fishy there.

Why would he not talk about his achievements as Lt. Governor for Gov. Dukakus? Why would he not talk about his achievements as a US Senator? Could it be that he was too far to the left? Could it be that if he did, we would run to the Republicans? Why didn’t he talk about it? Didn’t he have any achievements? It makes one with a brain wonder…!

Enough about Kerry. I hope that President Bush is not dilusional about the ILLEGAL ALIEN problem [Article I: Section 8-(3rd of the powers given to Congress) To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, …Article I: Section 8-(14th of the powers given to Congress) To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions; Article IV: Section 4-The United States shall guarantee to every State in the Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; …)] that is so pervasive in the USA at this very perilous time in our history. Tell me, how can we have Homeland Security when our land on which our homes are built is not secure?

I am exhausted with excuses of how Americans won’t do these jobs. What do you think I did as a teen? How do you think I worked my way through college? It wasn’t by sucking on the government teat! (Except for the grants and student loan which was paid back! Total disclosure.) Our young people need minimum wage employment to learn the “art” of working. This is the only way to learn a work ethic. I am not saying everyone will learn it, but you CANNOT learn it from a book. I know adults who have tried to get employment, but were turned away because they were not Hispanic. THAT is racist. I was one of them.

If the President does not address this issue without offering amnesty (no matter what you call it!), then I am in fear of another attack. Whoever comes up with a way to allow our Border Patrol to do their job, deport all ILLEGAL aliens (I love all people, so leave your racist sensibilities for some real racism,) and find the sleeper cells-ah, they will surely win many votes.

This is not a time for politics. We are at war. All 19 of the hijackers were illegally in this country. It is about time we got serious. I do not want another another September 11, 2001. There will be noone left to vote for anyone if they or you are dead. This is too unbearable to realize, and that is why everyone desires to move on as if it never happened. Please, God, make them take this seriously.
