It has been quite a while since we talked, and I am in need of Your guidance. You are my God, my Saviour, my Everything and I honor and trust and love You. I come to you as a broken rag doll.
Lord, I pray for to you to hold Captain Douglas Traversa high above his enemies. Hide him under Your wing. I pray he knows You, and that he knows You.
Lord, I need help getting back into reading the Bible everyday, not just when I want to pluck a verse or two for my own convenience. I want to get back to writing the whole Bible so I may finish it. By doing this, I will have also read it!
I have a problem with my anger towards our politicians. They are making it very difficult for me to pray for them. Sometimes I even have evil thoughts about them. I repent those, Lord.
We live in a country that is so fully blessed with Your riches. Beautiful mountains, far-reaching plains, marvelous stars in the sky at night, family, food-a-plenty, lively rivers, wide oceans, calm lakes, a multitude of animals to care for, a roof over our heads, and so much more. Yes, we are truly blessed with so much. Thank You, Lord.
Thank You, Lord, for not forgetting me. Thank You for delivering me from hands of Satan. Thank You for my life and my purpose. Even if I don’t know what it is, You do. I know my life is in Your hands, and I am comforted.
Lord, please watch over our President, our Congresspeople, our Governors, and all the other people who are trying to do what is right and just in our country. Also, please watch over Israel, Your chosen people. Help them to be successful against all attacks by people who only understand hatred and evil.
I would also like to pray for our Military. Keep them close to Your heart and alive and in one piece! Help them to find our enemies and please God, crush our enemies beneath Your feet.
I would also like to pray the Iraqi people, the Iranian people, and all the people in the Middle East who are searching for You. Even those who are not, as long as they are not against us. Help them to become self-sufficient, self-reliant, and I pray they would seek Your face. For when they do, I know their world would be so much better. Love them, Lord, please. Forgive them their sins, for they do not know what they are doing by not knowing You. Help them to get rid of the wicked regimes that teach hatred and steal their dignity. They need You so much, Lord. I plead with You on their behalf.
I know You are aware of the situation in Darfur, Sudan. Please God, make them stop the genocide! All people with evil intent in their heart against Darfurians, and all people in Darfur who have evil intent against their own people, crush them so that they can finally find a truce. There is only one true Peace, and that is one the world does not understand without You. That is why I did not say, “So they can finally find peace.” Please open a way for the food aid to get through to these people. And the people in Somalia, China, Burma, Thailand, Mexico, South America, and wherever it is necessary. Thank You.
I love You so very much Lord. I praise You all day and night, even though I do not write about it. For this I am regretful (that I do not write my thoughts).

God bless you. The Lord hears your heart and prayers. I believe that my anger is sometimes righteous, but most of the time it is not. When they speak about abortion? Righteous. When they try to do their political silly stuff? Wrong! Don’t get mad, get even. lol
I call them. That’s what I’ve learned to do. When I make the phone call, however, this is where I learn humility. I must be polite, no matter how angry I am, or else they will not hear what I am saying.
I don’t know if you are allowed to address Mr. Chavez. I hear he is taking the country into full socialism. Be careful he doesn’t go into communism. If you ever need a place to flee to, just e-mail me or leave a message. I will receive it. We’ll figure something out. 😉
This prayer convicted me. I, being in Venezuela, have had a lot of anger issues directed towards Chavez and crew. I need to learn to pray more and make sure the anger is “righteous” not just plain old, ANGER for my sake.
