Pray for Iran has been a comfort to many, and now they have another suggestion of us. I believe it is a very good idea and a way to honor God and love our neighbor as ourselves. Let’s see if you agree.
We trust you had a wonderful Christmas.
In the Islamic, lunar calendar, the month of ‘Hajj’ marks a significant period for Muslims as many millions go on pilgrimage to Mecca. We believe it is important for Christians to pray for the multitudes of people who go to fulfill their religious duties. Many go because they are longing for forgiveness of sins and because they are desperate to please God.
During this month there are two especially significant days (the Festival of Sacrifice and the Day of Arafat) when Muslims especially devote themselves more fully to their religion and spend extra time in Islamic rituals. These are important days even for those who do not travel on pilgrimage.
Many Christians across the Muslim world are encouraging the g lobal Church to join them in prayer on Arafat day, which this year is December 29th. This is the day that pilgrims move toward the plain of Arafat, after having been to Mecca and then Mina, a small uninhabited village east of the city. Islam teaches them that Allah will answer the prayers and pardon the sins of those who stand at Arafat. So hopeful pilgrims spend their time in meditation, seeking forgiveness of sins, and considering the course of their lives.
We encourage you to stand with many Christians in Muslim countries to pray at this strategic time that the Lord will open the eyes of multitudes of Muslims to know that God so loved the world that He sent his Son as the ultimate sacrifice, so that we could all know forgiveness of sins and receive eternal life.

May the Lord bless you, and thank you for praying.

Thank you for your time and concern for someone other than yourself. May God bless your kind heart.
I am doing well, thank you. Yes, I was doing something the other day (I forget what), and they had a few new ‘looks’ for people to look at. I just love this one! 😉 I pray your new year is filled with blessings.
By the way, love the new site.
Hey Rosemary, how are you? I will definitely say more prayers for them as well. Have a Happy New Year!
